What We Do
-
Our most popular service, which is also the most economical, is our Scrapbooking
Classes. We have several classes, ranging from the introductory
class to more advanced classes regarding tearing, die cuts, and so on.
We show you how to take your boxes and envelopes of photos, both old and
new, and create an exciting - and self-explanatory - presentation of your
family's history that you can pass on to generations to come. Men,
and children over the age of 5, are welcome. We have special sessions
for mothers and daughters, for fathers and sons, holidays, and special
groups (Boy/Girl Scouts, Offices, Churches, etc). Special arrangements
can be made with Assisted Living Facilities
to provide scrapbooking activities and supplies to residents and their
families. Be sure to ask how you can host your own classes and make
extra money in the process!
-
Family History CD's and/or Web
Sites are another economical way to preserve your family's heritage.
For one nominal fee, we will create a Family Tree for you, with all your
basic family information, plus photos and short stories.
-
For those of you who want to record more extensive details about your family's
history, or who want to preserve all the anecdotes and funny stories that
you grew up with, for your great grandchildren to know and appreciate,
we offer a Family
History Book. This will be a full-sized book, with your family's
name on the title, but the cost is held down by only publishing a few copies,
with more available upon request. Photos, charts, and other illustrations
are accepted.
-
Our premier service is for only a select few. If you have an especially
interesting, funny, inspiring, or amazing personal life story, we can write
your Biography for you. This
is a longer, more detailed, and more expensive work, but it holds the potential
for long-term residual income, for both you and us. Whether you have
an interesting story or not, you'll want to check out our Referral
Program, where we will pay you for referring people with exceptional
stories to us, if they are published.
-
One aspect of a family's legacy that many people unfortunately ignore is
the attitudes we have towards "those" certain family members. You
know, the ones you hardly ever see and who you feel really uncomfortable
around when you do see them. Ever think what you're teaching your
children when they see that? If you'd like to change that legacy
to one that truly honors God, give us a call. We offer a very special
service called "Letters of Reconciliation," patterned after II Corinthians
5:17-21, where God gives us the ministry of reconciliation. Through
a private and prayerful interview with you, we will craft a letter which
you can sign and send to your estranged family member or friend which will
create an atmosphere of reconciliation and forgiveness between the two
of you, hopefully leading to the restoration of your relationship.
(Please note that we are not licensed counselors, nor do
we warrant the outcome of our letters. However, we do expect that
this will provide you with at least a first step towards the healing of
your relationship, and we can point you in the direction of a pastor or
professional counselor if necessary.)
-
We also offer on-site portrait and event
photography for inclusion in any of the above services. Let
us come and photograph your event, be it a wedding or a Boy Scout hiking
trip, and you'll get quality pictures of your entire group, without the
usual annoying exclusion of the person taking the pictures! Photo
or digital archiving of your heritage portraits is also available upon
request.
-
If you have other writing projects, from newspaper articles to college
term papers to direct mail advertisements, we can write your copy for you.
Anything that you need to get written quickly, concisely, and correctly,
give us a call at 866-446-2424, and we can do it for you for a very reasonable
price. We even partner with FedEx / Kinko's to make sure that your
copy is not only written right but printed perfectly too.
